GermAfrika Kompass is an association of mostly sub-Saharan African immigrants from the district of Düren. It saw the light of day in August 2016 and is committed to tolerance and international understanding. This includes material and organisational support for people in difficult life situations and their families. Receiving, orienting and moving forward – we want to be a support for people, empower them and enable them to actively shape their future.

We are particularly concerned with current issues such as migration and flight. An important concern of the association is mutual understanding and the exchange of cultural values. For us, people and their dignity count more than anything else. Only in this way can society face the challenges of an increasingly globalised world with all its consequences. Our motto: We help shape our future.
